Congratulations to Michael Robinson, Health & Safety Manager (and QHSE Lead), who has won Star of the Month!

Michael was nominated for his hard work in maintaining the highest environmental and H&S standards throughout our operation, which enabled J&B Recycling to achieve ISO 50001 accreditation in June. He was also instrumental in compiling all of the information for the assessment, which we appreciate took a lot of effort. Thank you and well done Michael!

There were lots of other fantastic nominations in February/March. Special mentions (and a bar of J&B Star Chocolate) go out to the following:

Marta: She always goes above and beyond helping out in different areas on the clean down. She has also helped massively following the recent upgrade when there were a few weteething issues.

Lucy: She comes into the office, gets straight on with her daily duties and always makes sure everything is done before she leaves. She is very helpful and is flexible to provide extra support when we need her.

Tilly: For her help in the accounts department when they needed the extra pair of hands - also for helping with holiday cover.

Ashleigh: For her weekend help once again! Much appreciated.

David: He has used his initiative several times over the last month to take pictures of contamination for use on social media. One of the pictures did exceptionally well, reaching over 6,500 people just on Linkedin!

Phil: For all of his help getting the site ready for a large school visit. He went above and beyond – and was super helpful.

Reece: For helping with the school visit. He provided great advice and support to ensure we were fully prepared.

All nominees receive a J&B chocolate bar, and the star (or stars) receive a gift card. Nominations can be made by emailing marketing@jbrecycling.co.uk. You need to include the full name of the person you are nominating, as well as reason for the nomination. All nominations are forwarded to Managing Director Vikki Jackson-Smith, who chooses the winner/s.
