We have a fantastic team here at J&B Recycling! It is sometimes a bit of a challenge to single out just one person for Star of the Month… October was one of those months! There were some great nominations and Managing Director, Vikki Jackson-Smith, narrowed it down to two stars – Kamila Kozlowska and Sebastian.

Kamila really stepped up to cover the HR Department in the HR Manager’s absence. She also moved us over to a new HR system. Sebastian covered multiple roles for multiple shifts due to staff shortages. Well done to both of you – very deserving stars!

J&B Stars are nominated by their peers, so there are a few other people to mention who have really stood out as doing a fantastic job this month…

Johnny Smith just started with us in September and really hit the ground running. Johnny is incredibly helpful. He not only helped tidy up the bin shed, he also keeps it tidy, one of those jobs everyone is a little reluctant to do. All of that hard work has not gone unnoticed – well done!

Daniel Sugden, Transport Manager, also started working for us fairly recently, but has made a big impression. The Customer Services Manager was very grateful to Daniel for stepping up and supporting her team when she had to take a leave of absence. He is always happy to stay outside of his normal working hours if someone needs support.

Stephen Hutchinson was nominated by all of the staff at the South Tees depot. He is always willing to help any customer or work colleague on site, and goes above and beyond for the company. He is a real team player and definitely deserves to be recognised.

Well done team JB - we are super proud of you all.

All nominations are forwarded to Managing Director Vikki Jackson-Smith, who chooses the winner/s.
