The winner of Star of the Month for the month of July is our amazing Kelsey! Our customer service executive was voted as Star of the Month by other members of Team JB because she is always professional in what she does. Kelsey has been an essential part of Team J&B for 14 years, yet she has never lost any passion or energy for her work. Kelsey truly cares for this company and will always offer her help when it’s needed, even sometimes outside of her working hours, showing a real dedication to her team. Additionally, she is always happy to help in any other departments that may need it, she is eager to share her knowledge and experience with everyone, a true superstar!

Kelsey has experienced a lot of change in her department recently but has gone above and beyond to deliver training to new team members and has supported in everyone’s transitions to the business. This has caused such a positive impact on the business and deserves this special thank you!

As always, here at J&B Recycling, we like to celebrate all the other team members who received nominations this month from their team and departments.

Our fantastic weighbridge operator, Anna received nominations from her team for all her fantastic work helping in the transport department. Our newly appointment customer service manager, Emily also received a nomination as despite starting her new role during a very busy period for the team, she is always ready to learn and is full of optimism and great energy.

Kieran Clark was nominated again because with our operations manager away for a week, he was thrown into the deep end with some IT/connectivity issues and a weighbridge repair. Despite this, he took on the tasks and ensured that the issues were sorted.

Sean Nicholson was also nominated by members of the team as although he is trained in this part of the role, Sean carried out fly treatment over several weeks in full PPE, which is extremely uncomfortable in the hot weather we have had recently! Several other employees are trained in this area, but Sean took on this task for 4 weeks in a row.

Robbie was nominated for his help in covering the transport department, while waiting for our new transport manager to join the company. Evaldas was nominated for his help in cleaning the offices while also running the plant. Callum Legg was nominated by members of his team for his consistent hard work and positive attitude and finally, Brett received a nomination for his continuous help whenever it is needed within the team.

We can’t wait to see what next month brings!
