J&B Recycling, part of the Urbaser Group, is proud to announce the successful completion of the installation of a new state-of-the-art channel baler at its material recycling facility in Hartlepool, courtesy of Lyndex Recycling Systems.

The new channel baler is a cutting-edge addition to J&B Recycling's recycling operations, providing enhanced efficiency for processing and packaging recyclable materials. The baler is designed to efficiently compress a wide range of materials, including paper, cardboard, plastics, and other recyclables, into dense, stackable bales that are ready for transport to end markets for further processing.

"We are thrilled to have completed the installation of our new Lyndex Bigro 105 channel baler at J&B Recycling's Material Recycling Facility," said Mr. Keith Tart, Sales Director of Lyndex Recycling Systems. "This new addition will significantly enhance J&B Recycling's waste processing performance and improve their overall operational efficiency. We are proud to continue our long working relationship of over 18 years with J&B Recycling in their commitment to sustainable waste management practices."

The installation of the new channel baler is part of J&B Recycling's ongoing commitment to invest in advanced technologies that improve its recycling processes and increase its capacity to handle larger volumes of recyclable materials. Since 2014 the company has invested over £10 million in new equipment and upgrades at their facility in Hartlepool, which was awarded the coveted accolated ‘Facility of the Year’ at the National Recycling Awards in 2022.

The new baler boasts cutting-edge features, including advanced automation and safety systems, as well as improved energy efficiency, helping J&B Recycling to optimise its operations and reduce its environmental footprint.
