J&B Recycling has recently welcomed two new staff members to its accounts department.
Victoria Gilligan, accounts and payroll administrator, and Dawn MacPherson, sales ledger administrator, both joined the busy accounts team at J&B in 2019 to work with the increased amount of invoicing, weighbridge ticketing and admin the company is producing alongside its increasing capacity.
Victoria manages the payroll for the company as well as invoicing customers on a monthly basis.
Having worked in admin for most of her career, she moved into payroll a few years ago and progressed into the more in-depth line of work at J&B.
Victoria said: “I’m originally from Hartlepool so I’m really enjoying working back in the area. Here at J&B we’re like a work-family.
“It’s a great environment and the variation in my role is exactly what I want from my job. No two days are the same, we’re always helping each other. It’s all hands-on deck to make sure we work the best we can.”
Having worked in accounts for over 11 years, Dawn is enjoying working in a bustling company.
She said: “Being from Hartlepool I’ve always seen J&B’s name and know they’ve been in the town for a long time.
“J&B is a great business to have in the area, it’s created a lot of jobs for Hartlepool.”
Vikki Jackson-Smith, Managing Director at J&B Recycling, said: “It’s great to welcome Victoria and Dawn to the J&B team.
“We appointed Victoria and Dawn as we know they’d both work well with the company and bring their experience to help with J&B’s increasing expansion.”
J&B Recycling has recently undergone changes to expand its facilities and increase the capacity of the company.
In January 2020 J&B processed the most waste in the history of the business, with a 43% increase from January 2019.
The company is continuing to expand its work force with a number of positions available. If you would like to make an enquiry or if you require further information, please contact us.
