There are lots of stars amongst the 190+ staff here at J&B Recycling, so it is often difficult to single out just one. As the winter months draw in and we start building up to the busy festive period, team JB really pull together to deliver exceptional results.

In November, three people were nominated by their peers for star of the month, and Vikki just couldn’t choose between them, so she has chosen them all…

Emily has worked quite a few extra days to cover holidays/sickness.

Dariusz always goes above and beyond – he is always smiling.

Clare is a ray of sunshine. She is always positive and has a great relationship with customer, suppliers and her colleagues.

Two things that always stand out about our stars of the month is their positive attitude and willingness to help others. Whilst we can only reward 1 (or maybe 2-3) people each month, we know that these attributes are a big part of the culture here at J&B Recycling – they are what make us such a successful business! We have been nominated for two awards at the National Recycling Awards in December - Facility of the Year (for our Windermere site) and Partnership Excellence (in partnership with Hull City Council). We couldn’t have achieved the shortlist without all of your hard work and dedication, so thank you to every member of J&B Recycling – you should be really proud of what we have achieved together!

You need to include the full name of the person you are nominating, as well as reason for the nomination. All nominations are forwarded to Managing Director Vikki Jackson-Smith, who chooses the winner/s.
