J&B Recycling has become one of only a handful of recycling companies in the country to achieve the latest ISO health and safety accreditation.
Introduced in 2018, the ISO 45001 is a globally recognised accreditation compared to its predecessor’s UK-only recognition.
Michael Robinson, Safety, Health and Environment Manager at J&B Recycling, said: “It’s important for us at J&B Recycling to obtain the latest accreditations and to follow the most up-to-date procedures.
“As well as giving our customers total peace of mind it helps us to attract clients because we are known for being fully compliant.
“We were incredibly proud to be of only a handful of companies so far in the UK to be accredited.”
The new ISO 45001, an internationally recognised standard for occupational health and safety management systems allows companies to identify and understand the needs of employees and other workers, including suppliers, subcontractors and clients relating to health and safety.
Further changes to the new ISO include its focus on health and safety for businesses as a whole. Compared to a series of individual processes.
ISO 45001 is just the latest accreditation that J&B Recycling has achieved over the years including ISO14001 Environmental Certificate and ISO9001 Quality Certificate.
