We would like to say a huge thank you to our staff here at J&B Recycling who are working very hard to keep the operations going.

The Government has classed the waste sector as a critical service with workers in the refuse industry showing amazing commitment and hard work during such a difficult time.

Appreciation continues to be shown across social media for refuse workers and we cannot thank you enough for all your hard work.

We will continue to collect commercial recycling where necessary and process household recycling from local authorities.

Vikki Jackson-Smith, Managing Director at J&B Recycling, said: “The dedication the whole team at J&B has shown over the past few weeks has been amazing.

“We wouldn’t have been able to continue operations and provide a key service to the public and local authorities without everyone at J&B.”

We continue to implement safety measures such as making our processes increasingly paperless and daily cleaning and sanitising, with emphasis across all of the J&B Recycling sites and across our entire fleet of vehicles.

Mark Penny, Commercial Manager at J&B Recycling, said: “It’s heart-warming to see the respect and appreciation the public are showing for key workers in the waste industry.

“All of the staff at J&B should be proud of the dedication they are showing to help keep the waste sector going.”
