Food Waste Collection
J&B can provide a food waste only collection whereby it is collected separately from general or mixed waste. It can then be processed into good quality soil improver or fertiliser and used to generate electricity that is fed back into the national grid.
Single Stream Recycling
We can collect presorted materials such as metals, plastics and cardboard. This can include supplying containers such as skips or collecting on curtain sided vehicles.
Balers
We can supply a range of balers to produce different sizes of bales for recyclable commodities such as cardboard and polythene. The bales can be collected on a small curtain sided vehicle with a tail lift and pallet truck or full size 40ft curtain sided trailer for forklift loading.
WEEE Recycling
J&B has a proven track record in managing WEEE waste safely and effectively. We offer a variety of containers for the safe storage of batteries, fluorescent tubes, light bulbs and electrical items such as small and large domestic appliances. Our collection and reprocessing service is fully compliant and eliminates the harmful practice of disposal at landfill.
Front End Loader (FEL)
The FEL is suitable for light compactable waste. It is emptied on site so you always have somewhere to store waste and the container can be moved easily using a forklift. The lids can be locked and secured and the design and shape of the container means that all of its capacity is utilised.
Internal Segregation Bins
We provide a wide range of recycling segregation bins in the North East for your mixed recyclables. From small desk based recycling bins and desk trays to larger foot operated plastic bins. Talk to us to find out more.
Hazardous Waste
J&B can offer a variety of containers for the safe storage and collection of hazardous waste. Operating for the North East our collection, recycling, and disposal service is fully compliant with the Hazardous Waste Regulations.
Portable & Static Compactors
We provide portable and static compactors in the North East and UK. Compactors can help to increase payload in the container and reduce transport costs. They also support the environment by providing a fully enclosed disposal system that reduces the risk of fire in the container, and can prevent liquid spillage on site.
