J&B RECYCLING has recorded an average of 98.19% of on-time services over the last 6 months. This was measured across the whole range of container and vehicle types provided by the company. The best performance being made by the trade waste department that achieved an impressive average of 99.63% of wheelie bins being emptied on schedule. These latest statistics are taken from the first six months of 2017 and record every delivery and collection to and from customer’s premises. 

As the region’s largest independent waste management company J&B Recycling operates a fleet of 17 vehicles performing over 8,500 services every day across the North East and Yorkshire.

Vikki Jackson-Smith, MD at J&B Recycling, said: “Whilst pleasing, these figures have come as no surprise as service has always been a key factor in our business model. We understand the importance of reliability when building trust with our customers and it is a credit to all of the staff here at J&B who work hard to provide such a high quality of service.”

The figures come after another positive year for J&B Recycling, after achieving a record-breaking turnover of £15.8m, the company has now been nominated for its third international Corporate Livewire Award for its Innovation in Recycling Services.

Vikki added: “Customers are the heart of our business, when our customers are happy, our business moves forward. This year we’ve increased our staff members to over 200 and also promoted internally, creating roles that improve our levels of customer service even further.”
