Where is your dream holiday? I would love to go to Memphis Tennessee, the home of rock ‘n’ roll. I love the culture there. Either that, or to Australia, to swim with sharks.
What do you do in your spare time? I have a 15-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son who are both involved in plenty of out of school activities, so most of my time is spent playing taxi driver for the two of them, running them here, there and everywhere.
How long have you been at the company? I have been with J&B for 3 years, 5 months and 9 days (1256 days to be precise), but who’s counting?
Describe your typical day at J&B Recycling (and what your job entails):
Each day I ensure all the loads that arrive at J&B Recycling’s MRF on Baltic Street in Hartlepool are weighed off correctly and given the correct paperwork to meet with legal/environmental requirements and procedures.
I also need to ensure that all loads hold the materials that have been advised, and that they are pointed to the correct tipping bays to be sorted for separation and dispatch.
No two days are the same here which means there’s always something different going on. It’s what makes me like my job so much.
